Maria José Alves Veiga is a teacher of both Portuguese and English languages (High School and University levels) and is a member of the Research Centre at the Departamento de Línguas e Culturas (Universidade de Aveiro – University of Aveiro, Portugal). She is also a member of Transmedia Portugal since 2011. Her PhD investigation (2006) was on Audiovisual Translation of Humour (Subtiltling Humour: English – Portuguese (O humor na tradução para legendagem: Inglês/Português)).

Mishel Pavlovski is Full Professor at the Institute for Macedonian Literature, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. He teaches Cultural Studies: Topics and Methods, Post-Colonial Theory, as well as Theatre and Its audience. Holds two PhD degrees in theory of the theatre, the first obtained at the Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts RATI-GITIS in Moscow (1999), and the second at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (2003).

Fouad Nejmeddine has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University Paris13 (Paris-Nord), he come to Portugal to complete a Post-Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Science in University of Lisbon. He obtained a Filmmaker diploma from the Escola Técnica de Imagem e Comunicação – ETIC in Lisbon, and organized several events in Cinema and Science field. Actualy, he provides training and lectures in the Audiovisual Technologies field and developes research activities with Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares do Século XX – CEIS20 at the University of Coimbra.

Sérgio Dias Branco is a Guest Auxiliar Teacher of Filmic Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra, where he coordinates the filmic and image studies and directs the MA in Art Studies.He is a cinema and philosophy investigator at LFI (Philosophy of Language Institute) in the New University of Lisbon and is, also, a guest member of filmic review group The Magnifying Class and Refractory e Fata Morgana at the University of Oxford . He co-edits the Cinema: Revista de Filosofia e Imagem em Movimento (http://cjpmi.ifl.pt) and Conversations: The Journal of Cavellian Studies (https://uottawa.scholarsportal.info/ojs/index.php/conversations) magazines. He has several written book chapters and has published articles concerning cinema, television and video, namely in Refractory and Fata Morgana magazines. Sérgio Branco has presented scientific studies of this nature in numerous universities, particularly at the Universities of New York, Yale and Glasgow.
