    Maria José Alves Veiga is a tea­cher of both Por­tu­guese and English lan­gua­ges (High School and Uni­ver­sity levels) and is a mem­ber of the Rese­arch Cen­tre at the Depar­ta­mento de Lín­guas e Cul­tu­ras (Uni­ver­si­dade de Aveiro – Uni­ver­sity of Aveiro, Por­tu­gal). She is also a mem­ber of Trans­me­dia Por­tu­gal since 2011. Her PhD inves­ti­ga­tion (2006) was on Audi­o­vi­sual Trans­la­tion of Humour (Sub­til­tling Humour: English – Por­tu­guese (O humor na tra­du­ção para legen­da­gem: Inglês/​Português)).

    Mishel Pavlovski is Full Pro­fes­sor at the Ins­ti­tute for Mace­do­nian Lite­ra­ture, Ss. Cyril and Metho­dius Uni­ver­sity in Skopje, Mace­do­nia. He tea­ches Cul­tu­ral Stu­dies: Topics and Methods, Post-Colo­nial The­ory, as well as The­a­tre and Its audi­ence. Holds two PhD degrees in the­ory of the the­a­tre, the first obtai­ned at the Rus­sian Aca­demy of The­a­tri­cal Arts RATI-GITIS in Mos­cow (1999), and the second at Ss. Cyril and Metho­dius Uni­ver­sity in Skopje (2003).

    Fouad Nej­med­dine has a PhD in Bio­me­di­cal Sci­en­ces from the Uni­ver­sity Paris13 (Paris-Nord), he come to Por­tu­gal to com­plete a Post-Doc­to­ral Pro­gram at the Faculty of Sci­ence in Uni­ver­sity of Lis­bon. He obtai­ned a Film­ma­ker diploma from the Escola Téc­nica de Ima­gem e Comu­ni­ca­ção – ETIC in Lis­bon, and orga­ni­zed seve­ral events in Cinema and Sci­ence field. Actu­aly, he pro­vi­des trai­ning and lec­tu­res in the Audi­o­vi­sual Tech­no­lo­gies field and deve­lo­pes rese­arch acti­vi­ties with Cen­tro de Estu­dos Inter­dis­ci­pli­na­res do Século XXCEIS20 at the Uni­ver­sity of Coim­bra.

    Sér­gio Dias Branco is a Guest Auxi­liar Tea­cher of Fil­mic Stu­dies at the Faculty of Arts of the Uni­ver­sity of Coim­bra, where he coor­di­na­tes the fil­mic and image stu­dies and directs the MA in Art Stu­dies.

    He is a cinema and phi­lo­sophy inves­ti­ga­tor at LFI (Phi­lo­sophy of Lan­guage Ins­ti­tute) in the New Uni­ver­sity of Lis­bon and is, also, a guest mem­ber of fil­mic review group The Mag­nifying Class and Refrac­tory e Fata Mor­gana at the Uni­ver­sity of Oxford . He co-edits the Cinema: Revista de Filo­so­fia e Ima­gem em Movi­mento (http://​cjpmi​.ifl​.pt) and Con­ver­sa­ti­ons: The Jour­nal of Cavel­lian Stu­dies (https://​uot​tawa​.scho​lars​por​tal​.info/​o​j​s​/​i​n​d​e​x​.​p​h​p​/​c​o​n​v​e​r​s​a​tions) maga­zi­nes. He has seve­ral writ­ten book chap­ters and has published arti­cles con­cer­ning cinema, tele­vi­sion and video, namely in Refrac­tory and Fata Mor­gana maga­zi­nes. Sér­gio Branco has pre­sen­ted sci­en­ti­fic stu­dies of this nature in nume­rous uni­ver­si­ties, par­ti­cu­larly at the Uni­ver­si­ties of New York, Yale and Glas­gow.
