Luísa Sequeira Jornalista, Realizadora e Programadora Cultural
Holding a degree in Communications Science with specialization in documentary films, Luísa initiated her career in Mozambique at TVM (Mozambique TV). For 10 years she worked on TV producing and coordinating numerous projects in programmes and documentary films. Coordenated, produzed and hosted RTP’s “Fotograma”, the only show exclusively dedicated to portuguese language cinema.
She’s been the programming director of Porto’s Shortcutz since 2010 and the curatorship of portuguese feature films for Cineport Festival. She also commented the portuguese cinema heading in the “Cinemax” program and colaborated with “Sala 1”, Antena 1’s radio show. In 2011, she directed “Porto sem Nó”, winner of the International Festival of Television at Rio de Janeiro and, in 2013, she directed the show “Shortcutz Tv” dedicated to short films for Porto Channel. She mantains her cooperation with the international magazine “Flydoscope”, since 2012. This year Luísa co-directed with artist Sama an animation series called “Motel Sama” for Brasil Channel.
